Second Shortest T20 Innings

Lahore Qalandars’ innings of 59 all out in 66 balls is the second shortest completed innings ever in terms of balls bowled, behind Bangladeshi domestic team Mohammedan who were dismissed for 45 by Prime Bank in just 52 balls in 2013.

Shahid Afridi, who played for Peshawar Zalmi, was also playing for the Rangpur Riders when they bowled Khulna Titans out for 44 in 64 balls last year in the Bangladesh Premier League.

Lowest PSL Score

Lahore Qalandars’ score of 59 all out is the lowest score in the Pakistan Super League, considerably fewer than the previous lowest of 111 for 9 by Karachi Kings against Islamabad United last season. It is the second lowest score in Pakistani domestic cricket, behind the 55 all out made by DM Jamali against Lahore Lions in 2014. On only 21 occasions in all T20 cricket has a lower total been made in a completed innings. Lahore Qalandars now hold the record for the highest and lowest first innings scores in the PSL.

Peshawar Zalmi’s Powerplay total of 20-2 is the fewest runs scored in a PSL Powerplay. The previous lowest was by 22 by Islamabad United v Quetta Gladiators last season. Zalmi’s score of 20 could have been considerably lower were it not for the sixth over that went for 11.
