Experienced cricket analyst Freddie Wilde to begin a period of transition to take up a permanent role with the ECB after seven years with CricViz.
LONDON, January 17, 2023: CricViz, part of Ellipse Data, a leading sports data and analytics company has today announced that long-term Head of Performance Analysis, Freddie Wilde, will begin a transition process following his appointment as white ball analyst for the England men’s cricket team.
Wilde who started work with CricViz in 2015 and joined full-time in 2017 will continue to support all of CricViz’s existing performance analysis clients including the Desert Vipers in the ILT20 and Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL during this transition period and support the launch of the new flagship Query Tool Pro product.
CricViz has quickly established itself as a leading provider of cricket analysis across broadcast and media as well as becoming a key performance tool for professional teams and cricket boards globally. The growth of CricViz has enabled Wilde to work alongside the Royal Challengers Bangalore (IPL), Oval Invincibles (The Hundred), Melbourne Renegades (BBL), Cricket South Africa, Cricket Australia and the ECB.
