CricViz to provide data insights and analytics for Betway SA20 tournament

CricViz has agreed a multi-year deal to provide data and analytics services for the Betway SA20 competition until 2026

LONDON AND JOHANNESBURG, January 10, 2024: CricViz, the world’s leading cricket data and analytics provider will support Betway SA20 to power the tournament’s digital channels in an agreement until 2026.

CricViz’s unrivalled data and analytics services will be used across SA20’s digital platforms, bringing new levels of insight to the tournament’s global audience. This new partnership will see fans benefit from CricViz data services including its suite of fan engagement products, widgets and data feeds that will power the new Betway SA20 match centre with match, team and player stats. 

Betway SA20 will have access to CricViz’s data science products including WinViz and Most Valuable Player (MVP). The first-of-its-kind ‘Enhanced Commentary’ service, powered by natural language generation AI will also be used alongside CricViz’s Wagon Wheel, Beehive, Pitchmap and Manhattan data visualisations to engage fans at every level.

This agreement with Betway SA20 extends CricViz’s involvement with the biggest cricket competitions, having provided broadcast and media, performance analysis and data collection services to the biggest teams and leagues in the world.
